Love and memories live on forever... / Norma Coan (none)
I hope you have many wonderful memories to carry you through. Beautiful memories are wonderful things, they last till the longest day, they never wear out, never get lost, and can never be given away. To some you may be forgotten, to others a part of the past. But to those who loved you, your memory will always last.~~I am so sorry for the loss of Daniel. He was a true American hero.

I have not turned my back on you.... / Submitted With Daniel's Loved One's In Mind. Loved And Missed. (Never to be forgotten. )
I have not turned my back on you, so there's no need to cry, I am watching you from Heaven, just beyond the morning sky; I have seen you almost fall apart, when you could barely stand, I asked the LORD to comfort you, and I watched Him take your hand. He told me you were in more pain, than I could ever be, He wiped His eyes and swallowed hard, then gave your hand to me; although you may not feel my touch; or see me by your side, I've whispered that I Love You, while I wiped away each tear you cried. We share in grieving for your unspeakable loss. While we didn't know Daniel on a personal level, from what we have heard and read about him, the fruit did not fall from the tree. We are so proud to be friends of yours and this is truly a tragedy for all of us, to be sure. May you be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem and may Daniel's memory serve as a huge blessing for you and your extended family. Close

I grieve for your loss / Cindy Goodgion (Grateful American )
My chest hurts as I look as the photographs and see the love of life and the joy in living in this young man's eyes, knowing that they are forever closed.I grieve the loss of his future,I grieve the loss of his contributions to our world. If there is solace in knowing that he has the gratitude of a nation and the respect of so many for his courage and fortitude, know that it's true.Nothing said can ease your pain, nothing done will give him back to you.Time doesn't ease the pain, but it can make it easier to bear. May the memories of happy times and of his beautiful smile bring you ease in your times of sorrow and know that as long as you speak his name, and as long as he is remembered,he will always be with you.In your heart, and in the heart of a grateful nation.

A VERY grateful AMERICAN / Wanda Chapin (Passer-by)
As a mom of two I could not begin to imagine what the parents of this BRAVE solider is going through. I hear my 8 year old talking about how he wants to go and fight in the war and that when he gets old enough he is going to join the Army. That is a bitter sweet thing to a mom. I am proud of him to want to do that but at the same time I know what the outcome could be. Without this young man that gave his ALL and to the other men and women who up and leave their families not knowing if they will ever see them agian is more than Hero to me. I am not sure if there are words that can describe what these men and women are but without out them defending our nation we would be nothing. On that note I salute this young man and his family. He paid the ultimate price for us and we should never forget that( along with the other Soliders that lay their live down for us). To hear people talk negative and be unsupportive of these men and women make me outraged. It is like they want their freedom but they do not appreciate the price that people pay so we can have our FREEDOM. My prayers are with this Soliders family and just remember one day you will see him agian. MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL AND IN GOD WE TRUST! Close

May your family find peace knowing that you protected people like me that you never got to know, my heart is with your friends and family, god bless all of you. Jeannie Healy
My deepest regards... He was the best of best.. / Danielle D'Amico (Teenage Friend )
Like Chris, I knew Danny from Galaxy days... Coral Springs rollar rink too... And I went to Creek High too. Everything I have read is so true. I could not really add anything other than my love and prayers. We had so many laughs at the skating rinks and Danny was just 2 days younger than me so we would always argue over that. He made everyone laugh... Danny would always shuffle with me even when I lost beat! I can remember being at the Coral Square Mall and having a day full of laughs. There were a lot of us there so if anyone remembers Danny and the pink hairtye, you would laugh! It was unforgetable. Danny, though I haven't seen you in 8 years, you will be missed. My deepest regards, love, and prayers to your family! Ilan- if you remember me, try to smile, Danny would want us to remember the good times and smile in his memory! REST IN PEACE! Your Spirit lives on! MUAH! ~Danielle, an old skating buddy!~ Ain't nothing like the ol' days! Close
Never Forget / Christopher Molinari (Friend)
I knew Danny for many years. I used to skate with him as a kid in galaxy. As we grew older we partied together laughed and had a lot of fun. Then back before I went to the Navy danny and I worked out together and also worked in the same resturaunt as waiters. All in all I think I knew him for about 10 years or so. After I went in the military in 2002 we lost contact. I've wondered about him many times when I was away after I found out he enlisted. If there is one thing I can say to the family is I knew your son and brother for a long time and in all that time I can say with the deepest honesty that I never once heard one single person have anything but positive things to say about him. Danny was somebody who really knew how to make people feel good about themselves. I can remember when I was a teenager my mother disliked all my freinds for the most part but she used to tell me I should hang around Danny "that nice Jewish boy", she loved when he came over my house because he was so charming to her and always made her laugh. Danny I'll never forget get you man. Rest in peace and enjoy looking down and still smiling on us all Close

Gone But Not Forgotten / Misty (Sister of Fallen Marine Cpl. Rusty Washam )
The Fallen Written by Andrea Senter
They never thought when they left here their families they'd see no more No one dares to think about The high price of such a war.
If you asked them why they did it They'd say because it was right Someone has to stand up And someone has to fight
A world away they defend our cause, as we tuck our kids in bed. Some give all for all of us, And somewhere tears will be shed.
They do not ask for fame or fortune Just that we recognize We are here, free, today, Because the fallen have paid the price.
I am so sorry for you loss. I lost my brother Marine Cpl. Rusty Washam February 14, 2006 in Iraq by a suicide bomber he was only 21. People keep saying it will get easier as time goes by its been alittle over a year since we lost Rusty and it still feels like yesterday. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. May God Bless you and help heal your Broken Hearts from this huge loss. My brother has a site to it is rusty-washam.memory-of.com
Danny, a Hero in its Truest Sense / Robert Thomas (Friend of Cynthia Alexander )
To the Agami family,
I am a friend of Cynthia Alexander's, and she made me aware of your terrible loss. As I have a 21 yr old son, Joe, a Marine sargent who recently returned from Iraq and Afghanistan the year before, plus having lost Joe's big brother Ben at 17 in 2000, I have at least an idea of what you are going through. Joe had 3 Humvees blown out from under him, plus rolling at least 1 down a canyon, plus being shot at by everything the enemy had and in fact getting wounded and a Purple Heart, though it wasn't serious, fortunately. It's somewhat ironic that Danny's vehicle hit an IED, a good share of Joe and his team's time in Iraq was spent getting rid of those who planted them, and they were quite successful. Several of Joe's friends from here(Pendleton, Oregon) serve in the Army in or near Bahgdad, I try to keep them in my prayers as I did Danny some time ago when Cynthia mentioned a wonderful young friend going over there, didn't know his name at the time, just prayed for Cynthia's friend in the Army. I don't know you folks, and don't really know what to say to be of comfort, you've lost your beloved son, also beloved by many others, as a parent who lost his oldest beloved son, it's horrible, it hurts, it's wrong, especially when Danny, like Ben, is one of the best and brightest, who has that gift to touch people's hearts in a positive way. I consider Cynthia my friend, though I won't actually meet her till a couple of days from now when I take Joe to SeaTac to fly back to his base in Hawaii. She has nothing but good things to say, so I know he's a good man, or she would either tell me or say nothing. I'm kind of rambling here, but really, if there's anything I can do, if you want to talk, email, whatever, please feel free to contact me, we can cry on each other's shoulders if nothing else, believe me, when Cynthia told me, I bawled like it was one of Joe's friends, I still tear up pretty good looking at all the wonderful things on this site. Lord bless you good people, and again, my very sincere condolences. Close

I did not know Daniel and his family but was looking at the site since I just lost my mother in May.
My son, is stationed at Fr. Campbell, KY and is in the 101st Airborne. When I learn of a soldier giving his life for our Freedom it makes me closer to my son and so proud of him and his accomplishments.
This such a wonderful site, I just wanted to extend my personal sympathies to Daniels family. The video was very touching and made me cry.
How nice it is to have a site to visit like this in honor of our loved ones.
Thank you for touching my life, Peace be with you all. May Daniel and his life remain sweet in your memory. Sincerely, Tina Woody Close
